Well it's 8:17 here, not a cloud in the sky & 41 very chilly degrees. It should be in the low 60's this afternoon-so I think I wll be able to tough it out for a short (50-100 miles) ride! I certainly don't envy you guys-I did that snow removal thing for 40+ years (from Wisconsin) till I packed up & headed for the SUN!!!!

Thumbs down weather

Reading thru the forum. Driveway covered with ICE, may try to clear later.

I don't think the SnowBlower will work.

snow

We got about 10" of snow here last night. No shoveling though. I have a tractor with a blower, a tractor with a blade and a tractor with a loader. Now if only I could get my wife to learn to use one!

Reading the Forum, and glad I got 55 miles on yesterday. Chipped the Ice off the car, moved some branches that are down, wires down around the area, sun coming out, going to refreeze tonight.

Thumbs down Snowblower

Gave up with the snow blower years ago.
I've got a 4' blade on the garden tractor, wheel weights & chains and a hellava hill to plow!.

Gravity cooperates on the down hill push!

Sitting in front of the fire, drinking coffee, watching some NFL team pound on some other NFL team between the commercials.

Have 8 radios to program on the bench in the back room, main machine is downloading 50 states worth of TIGER data for a mapping app and the wife is sleeping in her new easy chair while the kid is in the back dink'n with his laptop.

Dog is chasing rabbits in her sleep.

Life is good

Deep in S...

Deep in Snow.

In the deep south of Vermont.
Went snowshoeing in the woodlot this afternoon during the storm. Knee deep with snowshoes on. Whatta workout!

Then got out the New Holland 1920 (the model number, not the year ) and plowed.

It's still coming down. Can you see the horse in the pic?

Skiing's gonna be good!

Bikes resting comfortably on Battery Tenders in the barn.

Happy Holidays everyone!

From 2:30am to 10:am sat in a Cat 950 with an 18' blade plowing a commercial account. Never did catch up with the snowfall. It's stopped now. Will go do all over again in another 5 hours. It's about time for another nap.

An hour SE of Columbus there has been just enough snow and ice to make riding impossible. It's going to be a few days, but the forecast calls for a warm-up late this week. Strong, gusty winds all day are blowing the snow around...

Snow??? Last fell here in 1949. Xmas shopping at the malls. Splitting lanes and getting a parking spot every time. Only sucks when someone wants something bigger than a bread box. Aren't small electronics just the perfect gift.....
