Sorry...

Perhaps one of the techies could explain, but I can test the link and it works. Somehow it's tied to my email address ONLY. Didn't mean to waste anyone's time.

If you copy and paste the link into your browser it works.
But if you click on it it goes to some kind of an enterprise outlook login.

That's the kind of stuff that get's virus on your computer. The link says one thing but it takes you somewhere else.

Not saying that this particular one is bad. That's just the scenario.

Cool Did Mine Also

At first I was a little leary of the fact that it had the link and wondering if it could be some sort of scam, but it turns out to be the genuine thing. Lets hope they are sincere in listening to the masses!

Well Tate, I for one am on the mailing list (e-mail) with at least 3 of the nearby Dealers. I would suppose they may have gotten them via the Dealer network?

Not sure though.

Either that, or the BMWXPLOR website. Don't forget, you had to register your email address to get on it.

Mmm, yea - that makes sense.

Not being on any dealer lists - kinda have to have dealers to have a dealer list - that's really the only viable option! Good catch.

My email came from BMW Explor

BMW collects email address for marketing purposes. If you've given you email at a bike show or at the dealer when you bought your bike they save it. If you've ever requested info from the corporate web site they have the address...
