For the LEO's

You guys may or may not find these pieces interesting. They were done for a 20 year recently retired homicide detective of the Harris County Sheriffs Dept. I like the "scales of justice" notice the reaper is tipping the scales. A lot of this was the customer idea(grim reaper, graveyard etc.) You Leo's will know the significance of the script on the rear fender. Their is lots to look at on this one.

Did you paint these David?

Incredible work. You are going to have to explain the Latin though.

This Latin term, often associated with mourning bands and

Police Memorial Day, means literally; "No one provokes

(attacks) me with impunity". The motto of the Order of the

Thistle. It was first used on the coins of James VI. of Scotland

(James I. of England). How it became associated with the badge

mourning band is unclear, however, those of Scottish and Irish

descent, who held positions in the ranks of police departments

over the years, may well have been the influence

Cool

Beautiful work but kind of morbid. Unless of course I might be missing something here.

David,

Law Enforcement was started in Scotland. The Constable actually went around turning on and off the night lamps and was a night watchman.

One word: Macabre

Truly disturbing stuff, yet strangely intriguing and a work of art!

I guess you don't mess with Tejas! (In this life or the next...)

No, you're on target. A long shift, and even a not so long shift, can be quite morbid.

Yes, sometimes justice can be a bit "stiff."

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." (Some really OLD friggin' White dude who couldn't have possibly known what he was talking about!) WARNING: Official HATE speech!
