New Material - Safer Gear?

d3o technology is a specially engineered material with intelligent molecules that flow with you as you move but on shock lock together to absorb impact energy.

Let the discussion begin.

Oh, and if you're in the market for motorcycle gloves...

Some of the most asinine things people do are typically preceded by the two words "Watch this."

"Other key features of the glove include the use of Kangaroo leather with outside stitching for increased grip, comfort and resistance and a large Velcro cuff allows for easy, adjustable closure over the suit."

I used to have a pair of Held gloves made with Kangaroo leather, very supple, very comfortable, and very strong. I'd still be wearing them if they hadn't been stolen.

They even came with a little card explaining how kangaroos get into crops and ruin them, and are a general nuisance, and that their gloves were only made from the hides of "bad" kangaroos. So you got great gloves, and a clear conscience.

All lower 48 states plus Alaska on the K13GT in two weeks . . .

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Looks interesting - but their racing gloves don't talk much about insulation. The only gloves that mention insulation are for skiing.
