I have one. It's plenty low, but I'm 6'2. I would actually like it 2-3 inches taller. My wife likes it a little better than the stock but isn't head over heels. Another issue is my width (wear a 52 long and my waist is 32-34 depending on the season if anyone is shopping for me for xmas or my sept 29th birthday ). If I don't have it in it's sweet spot ( for me 1 inch from all the way up) so I see 2 inches over the top, I get the swirl back into my chest and shoulders. That's the way it's designed though.
It is sharp though and more durable than acrylic. I would give it an 8 out of 10, while the stock (tall I guess) I would give a 6.

Sometimes you can get so fixated on the fact that you are right that you lose sight of the reality that it doesn't matter.

I have one and love it. Tremendous improvement over the stock (low-Euro) that my '06 came with. Much quieter with better airflow dynamics either lowered or raised. Better clarity too. And, as you will find noted in previous threads, it is polycarbonate, so has the same toughness characteristics as stock.

For the LT it is the same design as it has always been (V-Stream Z2450), to the best of my knowledge. It is the same ht as the stock Euro in the middle...so plenty of air if you want it...but higher on the sides, so the noise and back buffeting are much less. Their web site says "new", but these have been around for the LT for over a year. They are gradually adding versions for other BMW bikes.

You're welcome...actually the reply was selfish on my part...I'm closing in on the sacred "Senior Member" status.

Near the top of the page, right below Community Announcements, there is a blue navigation bar. Just right of midway there is a Search button. Click on Search and type "ztecnick" or "v-stream" in the box. A lot of people have reviewed the product and you can read their opinions until next Tuesday. Some people seem to love it, some people took it off their bike and sold it. Tip: put a thread in your regional forum to see if anyone nearby has one mounted and if you can visit to check it out.

Smile Thanks

Thanks Was I did read till my eye's crossed , sounds like a persons
height is the biggest issue . But thats really true with any shield . What
caught my eye from there add was the width up at the top edge . I was
hoping that would cut my wife some slack especially when running in a
head wind . Oh well I've got a local dealer trying to get in with Z Technik
on the try before you program . So maybe with all these rider feed back
reports an a test ride I want screw up waste my my money like the last time
