A guy from England posted on this site that he was scheduled to pick up his '07 last week and was informed that the BMW plant had not even begun to build it yet. No time frame on when he would get it. Coincidence?

That thought occured to me when I first read that post. It would be a dirty thing for BMW to take his money and tell him when it would be ready and then say they aren't going to make him one. On the other hand maybe he will be the first one to get the new LT?

Hi Guys

That was me. I found out today that the bike is now going to be at the dealer in London on 24th June. Thats two and a half months since I ordered it and I am not confident that they are going to make it even then. I told the dealer if the delivery date goes out any further then they could cancel the order.

I reckon that they have a problem with parts as hey gear down production on the LT which i believe is going to replaced by a chrome monster with a 1.8 engine . Anybody hear about this?

By the way, the factory have not offered neither myself or the dealer an explanation for the delay.

Steve

Thumbs down

My dealer (Roman Cycle in Austintown, OH) has 2 brand new '07 LTs. One came in just last week, and another just came in yesterday (thursday) . . . it's still in the crate. I love these rumors.

"BMW" did not take his money...the dealer did. A huge difference!

Umm...do you really think someone would put a deposit down on an '07 LT, and a totally redesigned '08 LT would just show up??? HELLO!

I was at BMW Cleveland today to pick up parts and noticed no LTs in the show room. Didn't think anything of it until this thread.

How many months ago did they leave Deutschland? Ohio vs. Europe are hardly the same distance from the BMW motorcycle factory. I haven't seen a new LT at my local dealer for maybe three months now. Haven't been there lately so maybe they've got some back in stock.
