Bargain - 2 Ton Shop Crane

Went to get a 1.5 ton folding shop crane today at Harbor Freight. Priced at $159. Out of stock, none coming in.

Decided to pop for the 2 ton version, found it was on sale for $149 (reg $199), plus I had a 15% coupon. Net cost, $128.

If you're looking for one, you might consider this if you have a store near you and don't need to pay freight (and have a friend with a truck to pick it up for you, bring it inside, and assemble it because I'm too darned feeble to do it myself! )

Looks pretty good, certainly good enough to hold the LT frame to drop the engine and trans out. Hydraulic ram is marked as 8 ton. Forks of the legs fold up and out of the way for storage so it doesn't take up such a big bit of the garage.

Of course, if you're in the D/FW area, you're welcome to come by and borrow it any time rather than buy your own!
