Piaggio 3-wheel scooter

Took a new Piaggio 250 cc 3-wheel scooter for a short ride (2 wheels in front, one in back). Felt a little front-end heavy in slow, tight u-turns - took all of 30 seconds to get used to it - otherwise, felt like a 2-wheeled 250 cc scooter. Very nice. Kinda fun as you come to a stop ... slide a switch on the right handlebar, the leaning feature of the 2 front wheels is locked out, and you can come to a complete stop with both feet still on the floorboards!

I hear they're running a scoot like this in EU with a 500 cc engine - mebbe next year in the US of A.

What's the top speed and MPG?

If you look at the map and don't care where you are, you're not lost.

I'm starting to see these on the road, too. Pretty nifty. I bet a 500cc version would be lots of fun, too.
