Unhappy

Holly cow, John...! Glad you are OK, AGAIN!
When it rains it pours , but then the sun comes out.
I hope you won't get any flak with the department, although you were not at fault in either case.
Time to go home and get $hitfaced to wash this off. Tomorrow is another day!

Do I recall correctly that you are getting a new motor in a few days? If so, take it easy... no need to rush getting that new bike. Make this one last until then!

Glad your OK. Better slow down some, 2 down, 7 lives left. Don't use them all up in a week.

Two bikes, two days? You can stop now. Have you used up the spare motors in the pool to ensure you get the first new one that comes in?

Seriously. . . Glad you're OK.

P.S. In the old neighborhood, getting whacked had a whole different meaning.

Geez, motorman, we know that the Beemer is an exceptional motorcycle with wonderful protection, but you don't have to prove it to us EVERYDAY.
Glad you're OK, please don't be getting whacked any more. The damage both to you and your bike seems to be escalating.

Glad you're OK to tell the story. I have to ask: Did he get a ticket for failure to yield or something?

Thanks

Thanks for the well wishing. My Capt. ordered me not to ride today. So I get to use our Ford Mustang Mac 1, plus I got too much stuff at the office to ride today.

About the spare bikes. Long story short. We had three guys on motors that were removed from motors. Anyway they were removed so I have three other motors to choice from.

Man, that seriously bites!

I'm glad you're OK.

I've often thought that motor officers needed armored gear, like many of us wear, as your exposure is many times ours. If nothing else, a flip face helmet and armored jacket (with gloves and boots), would help some in the minor crashes.

The risk you guys go through as part of your job gives me the shivers every time I think about it. Take care, we need you safe and sound.
