Get off your Butt and do your part

It is the Last day (12-31-2006_ of the year I'm at 42 degree N latitude, it is 57 degrees outside.
Maybe we have misjudged Al Gore all along , and there is something to this global warming crap.
With that in mind, I going out on my bike right now and spray 1/2 dozen aerosol cans up into the air. If everyone does their part it may never snow here again .

Smile Alas...

it is all real!
Ban all SUVs and make people ride bikes instead.
Parking would be so much easier at the mall and folks would not fight for a space when Christmas shopping!!!
Alternatively I could ride my horse, maybe on even days should gasoline get rationed...

You are incorrect. He did not say he invented the internet. However if you can show some documentation to support your statement I will gladly withdraw my critisism of your post.

Guess rxrichard is right - he only took the initiative in creating the internet...

Transcript: Vice President Gore on CNN's 'Late Edition'
BLITZER: I want to get to some of the substance of domestic and international issues in a minute, but let's just wrap up a little bit of the politics right now.

Why should Democrats, looking at the Democratic nomination process, support you instead of Bill Bradley, a friend of yours, a former colleague in the Senate? What do you have to bring to this that he doesn't necessarily bring to this process?

GORE: Well, I will be offering -- I'll be offering my vision when my campaign begins. And it will be comprehensive and sweeping. And I hope that it will be compelling enough to draw people toward it. I feel that it will be.

But it will emerge from my dialogue with the American people. I've traveled to every part of this country during the last six years. During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet. I took the initiative in moving forward a whole range of initiatives that have proven to be important to our country's economic growth and environmental protection, improvements in our educational system.

I like the previous suggestion where we remove the driver's seats from all cars, trucks, and SUVs and mount them to the front bumpers. Now that would solve a lot of the traffic problems in a real hurry.
