Where did you come from.

Was thinking about the bikes I've has in my life even though its only been a few I've loved everyone of them.
I have no pictures of my early bike except the first, but I had a 1969 Suzuki 90 then a 1972 Suzuki 125 enduro and a 1976 CB 550 from 1979 to 2002

From my very first bike to some I've had in the last 15 years.

Custom Mini Chopper I built.

2002 Honda Shadow ACE

2000 K1200LT with Bushtec trailer

1973 Custom CB350 Cafe Racer I built

1982 Custom BC758 drag bike I built

2015 KLR650

My curent 2012 K1600GTL also customized by me. Number 32 on the BMW nationwide presale list in 2010

Re: Where did you come from.

Where did all those pics we took of our bikes over the (45) years go? Most of my pre-digital photos seem to have vanished. Years ago I made a cringeworthy slideshow of my bikes - the blanks spaces filled in with pics from online photo libraries. And the sound track ...... 'Leader of the Pack' of course. Later I went to the Australian Motor Cycle Museum at Nabiac NSW which specialises in quantity over quality. And there I was able to find an example of every bike I'd ever owned .... and in the right colour.

My plan is to live forever. So far so good.

This thread has been started like 8 months ago, and only one reply??
Really? I sure hope some will share with us their bike genealogy! We all started somewhere, we all had our first love, (bikes!!! keep it there!!!) where more than impressed or even jealous of a friends... you know, bike! Am not able to post pictures here, as my pc. is down, but here are a few words, about where i come from: First bike was a 68 cc , two speed bike that i got after working 2 1/2 months summer break when 13 years old. Was the envy of the neighborhood, but tend to believe i deserved it! Later came the 125cc, 175cc and a restored 350cc two cylinder rebuilt, one year older than me. They were all Jawa bikes. At 24 got my first 900 cc Yamaha Seca. A gorgeous bike, but with some manufacturing flaws, and was stolen from me, before something major happened. Next was a 1985 Yamaha FJ 1100. Was looking for a GPZ 750 or even 1000cc. but the Yamaha dealer convinced me to get the first generation FJ, the 1100 cc. From there to the FJ 1200cc and after a few years break. Back to bikes on a 2007 Triumph Sprint triple 1050 cc. And now, as am at the end of the riding ability, have a 2008 rt. Always wanted a boxer engine, but at twice the price of other bikes that offered more, never had the chance. So finally am riding a bike i never thought will ever have the privilege to ride.
Next i will post some pictures, when i get back my pc. I hope you guys will go on, and show "where you come from" as your bikes!

2008 RT Biarritz Blue
2007 Triumph Sprint ST(sold)
1986 Yamaha FJ 1200
1985 Yamaha FJ 1100
1983 Yamaha XJ 900
