Cool Preload Suspension setting 1150RT

Help - the manual says to turn the preload suspension screw clockwise for (H)ard setup but my bike is marked with H ~ S i.e. clockwise will give a (S)oft setup.

Which is correct?

If the markings are H ~ S, as you twist toward the "H" you are going in a clock-wise direction which is the harder setting. Make sense? No, then just like most nuts and bolts, righty tighty, harder suspension, and lefty loosey, softer supension.
