Unhappy How I spent my Thanksgiving Holiday...(WHY you should wear seatbelts)

The doc didn't know what made me more "nuts," that I asked him NOT to use any sedatives for my second cervical spinal injections, or that I asked if one of the assistants take pictures, but this is how I spent Wednesday...

without the seatbelt, I'd be dead, so it's a small price to pay, and again, I am very glad that my mistake has caused only ME physical pain, when it could have been much worse.

Have a good week, everyone

Pete

cortisone, mostly (trying to reduce swelling to see if the facets--the finger-like projections on the back of the vertebrae--would stop pinching nerves that are a mess now). Had to go through two so the insurance will pay for a rhizotomy...for that, they'll insert a probe under flouroscope and burn/deaden the nerves being pinched by the bulging disks from my BMW Origami experiment last month.

I got all of 36 hours of relief...

but the rhizotomy should give me four years

fingers crossed, and thank goodness for seatbelts.

Interesting Pete, When I had mine I was on my side the doc stuck the needle in and after some time removed it I laid there for awhile for the stuff to settle and then a week later did it all over again. Have not had any problems since. Thank God!! Thats some rough business.
