R1150RT seal lowering

Anyone know of a seat lowering solution for a 2002 R1150RT? Saw a 2004 with a Wilber lowering solution and I could actually be flat footed while on the bike. Does the lowering change the handling characteristics? How much are they? Can an average wrench like me do the work?

1150 RT Lowering

Installing a lowered suspension on an 1150RT is easier than doing it on the LT.
It basically follows the instructions for the LT that are listed in the Hall of Wisdom.

Also look at a Rick Mayer seat to help you flat foot the bike.
