3 BMW Motorcycle Down

Caught something on news that 3 motorcycles went down after light rain. Apparently it was 3 police officers in some type of police escort in Washington. I caught it briefly on news. Can anyone fill me in.

It looked like BMW bikes that went down. Must of been oil not rain? My wife just took her MSF course and passed. It was a reminder no matter what your skill level and what precautions you take we need be wearing safety gear.

Anyone have anymore info on this?

Thanks

I saw it to but I think it was an escort for the president in Hawaii. They appeared to be The 1150 RT police version. That's about all I know.

It was the presidential motorcade escort detail in Hawaii when they went down. It looked like the roads were wet from rain on the pictures that I saw..It was probably one of those domino effects, one went down causing the others to take evasive action and went down also...

Correct. They were part of the President's escort. Happened on base.

I see from another thread that 2 of the 3 officers are in serious condition. Had I known this at the time I posted above I would have never made a joke...I hope they recover completely and quickly.
