Great shots! Even of the oned with big dorky blond guy on all of the bikes!

I always like the LT in the blue!

I saw an RS this morning with the new new RT bags mounted on it. Very cool!

Pete,

Thanks for the shots from the show. On the new KAW, great detail photos on the oil filter, the new wind shield design, and flash to pass switch. Thank you for being thorough and for sharing. My first two bikes were KAWS and I always have a soft spot for their thinking. The large top case on my GT is a necessary item for me. It will be interesting to see if KAW adds that item to the product and if so at what price. My GT sits in the cold garage now with 4,600+ miles. I love the darn thing. Shame about the North Coast weather here.

Thumbs up Thanks Pete.

(No offense Pete, but I HATE Picasaweb.Google! FINALLY got the slide show to play. But I digress...)

I'm hoping by the time the Concours14 rolls into Cleveland, I'll be able to actually sit on the thing. That's what happened last year with the ZX-14. My ponderings remain . . . do I want to give up ESA? Give up OEM cruise control? An OEM topbox? And all the other pluses of my GT? All for that sick beast of a powerplant?

Hhmmn...... . . . . . . . . . . .

Well the Kawi Has a little more styling on the sides than the GT, does it look like the footpeg is better than the FJR's or is it just me that thinks it is more relaxed?

Thanks For posting them

thanks guys...

Yeah, I don't know who that guy with the LIGHT BROWN hair is, but he fu**ed up a lot of my pics...

it was a riot, I was laid out on the display taking shots from underneath the concours, wearing a BMW t-shirt, and people were mumbling and asking "does he work for BMW?" Don't be surprised if there is some "leak" in the press of "...BMW was seen taking spy shots of the 07 Concours at the Ft Worth show..."

and later at the BMW display, when I was explaining to a guy about what ESA does, one of their reps brought a guy over to ask ME a question...like I am some expert on technology on BMW motorcycles...

Although, when a really pushy old woman got snotty with me when I was at the Ducati "tent" and demanded some information, I happily smiled, said "sorry for the wait, ma'am," and informed her that the 2007 999 had "324 rear wheel horsepower, an automatic transmission, and has a special laser-diode headlight that actually warms the pavement before you drive over it, increasing traction by as much as 13%."

And she bought every word.

and I agree on the "if I were a millionnaire..."

I sat in the fetal position all night, rocking back and forth, repeating a mantra of "want it...want it...want it..."

I have the FJR's bars in the forward position, and the new Connie is very close to those ergos. Leg room seemed to be closer to the FJR than the GT.

Hard to say without actually riding it. The day I sat on the Connie, Gail and I were on the LT so I didn't get a real direct comparison. Does that make sense? The pegs seemed a little higher (not as high as the GT from what I remember), and the Connie seemed a little thinner through the mid-section than the FJR, which would help. In fact, the bike is narrower (less bulky) than I imagined from the pictures.

That's OK Howard. I can buy Rock a new coffee mug. We wouldn't want to take you away from your new Harley buddies, and IBA rides, and such. You're a busy busy man. Besides, no vendor will be selling aux fuel tanks and catheters for you iron butt types. They have special shows for y'all. This one's just for us ordinary folk.
