Red face UK Public Service announcement

This , I believe is a great (motorcycle) public service announcement. Not exactly a happy ending though.

You are seeing what you want to see. The message is don't simultaneously brake and swerve.
However, don't go to work sounds good too, but the Brits may not agree.

I thought it was an ad for ABS. I agree the intended message is a good one (pay attention, even locally), but I also agree that better riding skills could have helped quite a bit in that scenario. Surviving an accident is good (ATGATT), avoiding one is even better.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Patrick,

Thanks for sharing. I have a good friend who rides in London most days. His bike has no ABS. I keep nudging him to move up. He says too much for those BMW's with ABS......

More than 132,000 (recently corrected higher) motorcycle riders have died in traffic crashes since the enactment of the Highway Safety Act of 1966 and The National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1966. Be careful out there.
