C14 Pics

One of the guys from the COG group was at the International Motorcycle show this past weekend and posted these pics.

Yahoo! photos has a halfway decent slideshow viewer if you click the button in the upper left corner, just make sure you click the button before you select any pics on the page or the slideshow won't show them all. The links:

Great looking pictures, and very informative.
Looks like they have themselves a winner.
Do ya recon that it comes in black.

Interesting final drive arrangement -- just about an exact copy of the latest BMW telelever arrangement, down to the location of the pivot point at the bottom of the swingarm casting and lever arm above the swingarm

The ABS version is available in black. The standard version is only available in silverdammit. At least that's the story I'm hearing.

Very clean. I wonder if the equipment level will make it more competitive than the FJR?

Since this is a pre-production model, you never know what the final version will look like and what equipment will be standard or optional.

Wow!!! Nice! Not just this bike, but why can't all sport tourers have an option for an integrated Trunk too? Putting a GIVI egg up there spoile the looks somewhat. And at this point, my bikes need CRUISE!!! So much better then a throttle lock.

But still, very nice bike. I know where the demo lines will be next year.....

Questions

Great job with the pictures, this may be the bike that brings me over the gap. Paging doc Freud, was that a slip??
Any one catch a price yet?
Dry weight
Gonna need to put some slider pucks on that, cause with that much juice it is gonna be touchy in the snow.
And a milk crate (wheres the top box) couple guys ride around on new ones with a rusty old Turner dairy crate bungied on, the factory wont be long in coming out with a top box.

Except instead of a single side swingarm there is a mirror image on the other side sans shaft. Kinda weird looking in the 21st century.

Prolly so, Paul. This thread is about a year old in start-date. Link changed since then, I guess.
