What channel???

Me? I'm cruisin' along the black stuff and all kinds of guys are passing by the other way. Hey... there's another 1200... wonder if he's runnin' GMRS like I am and I wonder what channel he's usin'?

Sparks a bit 'o' interest...

Is there a system/channel that you run consistently? For example:
Here in N. California, we run GMRS Chan. 7 sub 7 and CB Chan. 12
(example folks... I have a feelin' this is no where's near what the real answer is...)

Might be kind of fun identifying who transmits what and on what freq. if and when the desire hits ya! or.... has this been hashed once before and I'm just not lookin' in the right place?

As for me (and since I don't know any better...) GMRS Chan 4. sub 6 - don't do no CB (at this time anyway)!

Most of the time I have the FRS (GMRS) in 12/12
If I have the CB on for an odd reason, it will be on channel 1

146.520 fm voice - well, soon as I get it installed on mine, I know others hav it now. When I get mine installed, I'll also be using 446.000 fm voice (5Khz, not the FRS 2.5k)

All I have currently is 144.390 AX.25 UI frames (APRS) - that works now!
