This is funny, I have talked to at least two people this last week and when the Concours was brought I said that that Kawi had to do something very soon. I only hope they use the same seat!

Anybody seen one of these at the traveling International Motorcycle Show?? Reliable local authority sez there may be two units in country - one has been seen in the flesh at a 'Dealers Only Show'. If they're planning on rolling out the goods in March/April, would seem the IMS oughta have one now. If speculation of September/October roll out, then next years IMS show would be a 'for sure'.

Anybody seen one in the raw??

I have me doubts anyone'll get back to you on this one. I think the show organizin' folks will make y'all wear at least a thong thangy to get in the door.

I didn't need that visual right after lunch!!

Ya gotta wonder when the press will get their hands on the bike and do a review. I don't see it hittin the showrooms until after that.

Yup, I did carefully consider the semantic ramifications of what you said, thunk you said and went ahead and responded th way I wanted to anywho.

More importantly, yep, the thong thangy is pink with purty lace trim.

(golly I surely do admire the opportunity to resurect old juvenile dress codes)

This will be fun to test ride in the spring. If my GT sells, maybe I'll go back to Kawalski?

More than 132,000 (recently corrected higher) motorcycle riders have died in traffic crashes since the enactment of the Highway Safety Act of 1966 and The National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1966. Be careful out there.

Hi, Doug. Yeppir, it takes a person with a strong constitution and real gender identity security to ride a BMW the color of Dick's. Makes right proud of Brother Dick to step up and volunteer to go recognoiter the new Contour in such sartorial splendor.

Although I am not enthralled with the silly looking lines on the bags, this bike certainly has potential. Just one more variable to be considered when looking for a replacement for "Old Blue" next year! It will be fun to read all the "first ride" reports in the bike mags over the next few months.

Have you seen the lights on the new BMWs? Freakin' huge. And about time, too.

Just wait. The new LT is coming, and it will be all that we've asked for, honest.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Funny thing that BMW would give some models new great lights but does not equip their flagship Touring bike with same...! The LT pales compared to the Wing... when it comes to lighting!
After adding 2 sets of PIAAs 1100X and HID low beam I can finally see the road!
I love the bike though and (im)patiently await the new model, which of course will have 150 ponies, weight 100lbs less, have a 100,000 miles fender-to-fender warranty, and a seat everyone will love (Sorry Ron Miller )!
So, Ken when did you say the new LT was coming out?

Ridiculous HP ###
Ed was in yesterday to finish up back piece memorial for his 2 bro's killed on the track. (full bike w/rider on checkered winners circle, banner "gone but not forgotten")
He said in 7 years on the Pro race circuit he never dreamed of 190+in a stock bike.
