Shell Rotella Gear oil

At the risk of starting a painful oil thread, has anybody used Shell Rotella Gear oil 80W90 in their final drive and transmission.
I was at walmart getting some oil to do engine oil change and the shell gear oil caught my eye.
Just wondered if anybody has used it.

I have not, but that is what I'm planning on using as it has been recommended by my trusted LT maintenance source. But when I was at Wally World, they were out, so couldn't get it at on that trip.

I have used the Rotella Syn in the engine. It's for diesel engines and supposed to be ok. Several on this form have used. I imagine the gear oil is just as good. I use a heavier wgt. during hot Texas summer.
