I was insured by them back in the late 80s for several years. Their prices were very competitive. One year, the premium almost doubled and I asked why. The answer was that I was no longer in their target market.

I had just turned 53. They were, at the time, targeting 35-52.

I used them for years, good price and got a get out of jail card free. That means no penalties or hits if you got in an accident or a ticket. Had a leetle 60 mph get off and the paid like clockwork.

Lonestar BMW's gal, Jenny has smashed them with a quote from Foremost on the GT, so I reckon I'll walk.

Used them too

--until my local guy got a Travelers subsidiary to beat them almost by half, also have my truck with them for much less than the last auto company.

I've used them for the last two bikes. Never had a claim so I do not know how well they will pay or how fast but the rates are OK.

I just renewed for 360 for the year. I did not shop around but seems like a good price to me.

I used to do work for them; they're reputable. That said, I use Geico.

Dunno 'bout Markel on those, but Geico had the best price and service for me.
