Next Cool Accessory

Just mount the antenna on the topcase, and voila! Entertainment on the road.

I mounted the flat panel above my GPS...but then I had a hard time seeing the road so I unistalled the whole thing!

dang Jeff I have had one of these for a number of years now, it is rough on the bike because you lose the signal too much, but on a slow moving boat it is awsesome. The only thing we have to watch for is going under bridges, will lose signal, but it comes back rather quickly.

Wink

Watching TV while riding could be dangerous for some of us. However, you could install it in the backrest for the SO or in the inside of teh topcase. So that when you stop off on the road, you could open your top case, have the flat screen flip down and catch up on the score of the Mets game or your who's zooming who on the soaps. Matbe even American Idol.

I'm sure some of us are big "Days of Our Life" fan.

Hell, I ride my bike to get away from my TV and computer!

That's why I don't want an intercom system either, I don't want to talk to the wife, it is enough that she is poking me in the side when I go too fast..

Current rides:
2003 BMW 1200 LT (bought in 2006)

Past rides:
97 Kawasaki ZX11(bought new in 1997, sadly sold in September 2014)
89 Honda Hurricane (sold)
88 Honda Hurricane (traded on an SUV)
86 Kawasaki 1000R (stolen but recovered)
84 Honda 750F (traded on 1000R)
81 Suzuki GSX1100 (sold)
78 Suzuki GS750 (traded on GSX1100)
74 Yamaha RD50 (sold)

Do you think that it will fit next to the Espresso machine?

Once you get a GPS, the intercom is the next thing to follow. Ain't nothing like voice prompts. And then, you might-as-well add an iPod. And then . . . a cell phone. And then . . . . . . . . . .

I don't think there's room on my GT, but lets see, on my Goldwing, if I replace the windshield with the widescreen TV (let the autopilot do the driving, no need to see the road anyway), move the refrigerator and microwave, I could put the TIVO next to the coffee maker ......

Just get a forward-facing camera and you're all set. Or just set the Autopilot like Ruben suggests.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Joe, all you would have had to do was put a video camera on the other side and project the road ahead on the flat panel.

Just Go
