Hartco Seats

Anyone have any experience with these seats?
Looking at one since they do not require the use of my seat pan for the new seat.
Thanks
Ken

Hartco Seats

In approximately 1990 I purchased a Hartco seat for my '86 Honda SEI.

After completing the "break in" period recommended by Hartco I experienced some discomfort. I contacted the company and spoke to Mr. Hart who agreed to rebuild the seat. Upon return of the seat I closely examined it and found that in fact he did rebuild it and did not just make some minor modification. I was very satisfied with the seat and and put a lot of miles on it.

I chose a velour for the type of material for the top portion of the seat and the backrest and found it to be very durable and comfortable in both warm and cold weather.

Hartco at the time was located in Tennessee and now they are in Florida. I don't know if the owner is still the same or if the company has changed hands.

Mr. Hart was very pleasant and professional to do business with and he stood behind his product.

Thanks Larry I do appreciate the input.
He seemed like a nice guy on the phone but sometimes that is not a good indicator of what the seat or product is like.

It is the same owner! And he is still a really nice guy and tries to meet the customer requests.
