Arrow High Speed on a GT (new or old skool)

What's good for the goose and all...

I've had mine to 149mph (GPS) and it was still pulling mighty hard. And, I had just shifted into 6th. But the rumor has it that the new GT tops out at 155. Must be electronically limited.

Coincidentally, I've taken the GT up to redline in 4th gear on several occasions. And every time I've hit the same speed. 125mph Which happens to be 1mph faster than I ever went on the '02 LT. Cool!

These figures may or may not be factual. They may or may not have been obtained on public roads, private roads, a corn field, a closed circuit track, or an airport runway. messenger13 is NOT a profession, though he has stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. Sounds like you're having a BLAST on the GT... be safe...

Nice disclaimer... I think you have everything covered at least once (if not twice!) in that thing. Although I think you miseed: DO NOT REMOVE COVER. NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. REFER SERVICING TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL. (As it applies to Joe - not the GT )

My Audi is supposed to "electronicly limitied to 155mph" but I have discovered that it's not true.
