Leaving for Sturgis on Monday

Hope to see any others from the group that are headed that way. Keep your eyes out for the "flamed" bike .

Thumbs down Be careful out there!

Roy,

Beings that we live very close to Sturgis, decided to go for a little spin to see what things looked like. (Bad idea!) It appears that there is a bumper crop of dumb ass "bikers" that purchased "motorcycles" , trailered them out here, and decided to learn how to ride them with most showing up in Boulder Canyon for their first ride. It's just nuts! It was like trying to ride in a pinball machine. Had no idea where the next one was coming from. Just plain scary and no fun at all. Unfortunately, a few will probably get killed this weekend.

Be careful and stay very alert.

Might just cross paths with ya.
Have fun!

Duane

Let me know how the LT handles the pig tail (16A just outside of Keystone). I tried that on my Ultra Classic and it was a butt puckerer... the LT with its higher center of gravity would seem to be a handfull

Wow, that's 20-30 cents cheaper than Portland, and way cheaper than L.A. All depends on your perspective, I guess.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Roy;
We just rode in from Wall SD. Steady flow of bikes for sure but nothing extra heavy kind of normal for Sturgis.
Things down here in the Southern Hills are quiet this year; the local law is making sure things stay safe. We have a new Sheriff and he plans on making his mark I guess.
I have only seen one accident and that was in Wall today on the Interstate so things are better than normal.
Hey ride safe on your way down and of course watch your Ass when you get here.
