Renting a Motorcycle in Florence, Italy

Hi! I am an active BMW 1150rt rider all over North America (almost hitting 70k miles on my bike) and also track my s1000rr.

A small group of friends just booked a trip to Florence, Italy for a week this June and want to integrate motorcycles. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to rent a BMW touring bike from in Florence? My fiance will be on the back.

Thanks!

Tom

Not sure about renting there, Google lists a few options.
The big Motorcycle store is Motorama.it if you need any help with gear while there.
Would have loved to hire a bike when there this time last year, beautiful area to go riding. Wife preferred shopping though!

Did the Alps last summer starting in Milan but it was part of a tour. The bikes were brought from Slovenia. Not sure where you can rent. The city itself is very congested with traffic. We started from a hotel near the airport.

Re: Renting a Motorcycle in Florence, Italy

Hi!
I hope to not be too cheeky... actually we are a rental company!
If you like to contact us for any information, we are Hills & Wheels Hills & Wheels - Rent a motorbike in Italy

Reading the replies to this topic I like to point out that:
- we are an entitled rental company (with all the compulsory documents and insurances)
- we rent all the equipments and gears that you'll need
- we deliver and pick up all around Italy (in airports or hotels too)
- if your girlfriends like shopping, we do collect in shops and delivery directly at home your purchases (but we won't say that to your ladies, if you prefer save some money with the excuse of "the small luggage space"...)

Cheers!
