Ok, dealer replaced BMW pad, no help.

Cleaned and De-Glazed pads and Rotor - worked for a day.

Installed SBS Pads,
Cleaned rotor,
Uniformly Smeared "CRC Anti- squeek" brake lube on rear of new SBS pads, Lubed pins,
"Set" brake pads with a bunch of hard rear pedal stops
Prayed to Joe Peschi

~ Fine for a few hundred miles.... *Now - The B*tch is back.......

Now what? Ask dealer for new Rotor?

Mike,
I think its oxidation of the rotor. The fix for this is periodic road trips(ON THE BIKE) Sorry to hear your problem is back, i hope its not the pads since I just installed a set on your glowing report a month or so ago.

Brian,

The SBS "Glow" has worn off.... I have ridden nearly 6,000 miles in 3 months... Ya think I need more miles? :^)

PS I have only had the pads on for a short time

Ebc

I put the EBC HH-sinterted pads on mine. No squeek in about 6k miles..
Time for another oil change though...:)

Mike,
I'm just taking a jab at ya! However I have ridden about 8-9k in the last 3 months and I wish that was more. Heck I did 4200 in one week during WCR. If you want to cool off some, Head over to the wet side some weekend. We'll do a coast/Peninsular ride
