Thumbs down This football player hit his head...

This really had nothing to do with football, but I guess this guy is pretty famous. I don't watch football at all...
Anyway, what a knuckle head! Here is a quote;

Roethlisberger was cited for not wearing a helmet when the accident happened.

"That day I wasn't, I forgot it. I literally forgot it," he said. "You know there are times that, people that have been making a big deal for the last couple years about me riding first of all, and then me riding without a helmet, but it's one of those things that I ride with a helmet also. I do a little bit of both. If you don't wear a seat belt every time you ride in the car should I label you as a person who doesn't wear a seat belt? And unfortunately I happened to not have it on that day because I forgot it in the basement."

Roethlisberger said he didn't know if he would ride a motorcycle again.

My favorite part is in bold. Duh.

Do us a favor and stay of the motorbike, you are giving all of us a bad reputation.

A - Old news. But maybe it's just old to the midwest people, and football fans.

B - His new name is Toothlessberger.

C - You have dupicate threads. Delete the other one. Please.

Yeah, maybe cause I don't pay much attention to sports. I know the accident is old, but the quote is new.
How do I delete the other posting??

Thumbs up the worst part...

the worst part of that statement is he had million dollar PR firm helping him craft it. when people f*#@ up... just say "I'm a bonehead... I'm lucky... I'm done riding without a helmet." I'd respect that.

Yeah, I forget lots of things but I gotta tell you that when the wind is making your eyes water and bugs are smashing into your face I think then I would remember to at least go back and get it!

Smile

Adam,
If you had just a few more bikes you could be listed as a bike dealer in the Yellow pages.

I was starting to wonder about that.. do people just list the bikes they own, or what they have owned? I only have the BMW and the Yamaha dirtbike right now....
