Wind shield adjuster

My adjuster seem to work periodically and then failed completely. I checked my fuse which seemed to be fine. Does this mean my adjuster motor is probably toast or is it generally a relay or lose wiring. Mine is a 2005 K1200LT

Re: Wind shield adjuster

Usually it is a relay that goes south. Also make sure to lube the arm pivots with some silcone spray. Motors have proven to be very reliable.

The relays are on the frame of the assembly.

Re: Wind shield adjuster

Same thing happened on my 05. It was a relay. I simply pulled the relay and cleaned the connections. Still working after a couple of years now (knock on wood)
