Volt Meter

I'm always wishing I had a Volt meter on the bike...
Anyone try this on an LT or know of a similiar product they've used and liked...

Re: Volt Meter

I installed that exact same unit on my VFR800 two years or so ago, and it has worked flawlessly for over 20,000 miles and in all types of extreme weather conditions. It's dead-on accurate. By the way, you can peel that little decal right off if you so choose.

2013 BMW K1600GLT (I love this bike!)...
2005 BMW K1200LT, a/k/a "Fat Bottomed Girl" (traded for 2013 K1600GLT)...
1998 Honda VFR800, the finest sport/tourer ever created...
1978 Yamaha DT400E, because I just can't leave the sound of a two-stroke behind...

Re: Volt Meter

I had one of the attached on my LT. I purchased it from West Marine. Thinking about it now, I would of rather had a digital meter to get a better (exact) number on what the charging system is doing.

Re: Volt Meter

There is a picture of a digital meter I installed on my K1200LT in this thread.

You can get it in 100th or 10th. Next time I'll go with 10th. It won't move as much and still be as effective.
