Another battery question

I posted this over at the Battery subforum but I've only got 1 response and it didn't answer my question (thanks anyway) so I thought I'd try again.
I find myself with a battery that won't hold a charge and I saw that Hyperformance Parts out of Austin, TX has the BikeMaster® Yumicron Battery (Part#: 78-1133) which is a Yuasa 51913 for a little over $60. Anyone have any experience with this battery or this company? I was wondering about the Yuasa since they have been around for awhile and I know they used to have a good reputation.

I don't have any experience with this battery. I did go to the Yuasa web site and found out that this is a conventional battery with extra plates for added capacity. Being a conventional battery, you will have to check the water level on a regular basis.

My preference is for an absorbed glass mat (AGM) battery. I have a Panasonic AGM battery that is over 3 years old and still going strong. I think I paid about $50 for it. It is completely maintenance free and is 20ah compared to the BMW battery which is 18ah.

Re: Another battery question

Just so you will have more responses, Ditto on what Alan and Dick said. Stay away from wet cell batteries.

Re: Another battery question

Sorry, still nobody answered your question so my guess is nobody had experience with that battery.
