03 Alarm Removal

I bought an 03 LT 2 years ago with the factory alarm. I never use the alarm and have now lost the fob. The wiring is different than described for the dealer installed alarm. I need to know which wires to jump in the 12 pin plug at the alarm.

Thanks

Re: 03 Alarm Removal

Mark,

The pins on the 12 pin connector are as follows:

"To get the bike running again you need to jumper the following pins on the 12 pin connector. Pin 3 (black/white/yellow) to pin 11 (black/yellow); this is the starter button signal to the starter relay. Then jumper pin 10 (green/violet, switched power) to both pin 2 (blue/red, flasher module) and pin 6 (blue/violet, engine electronics relay). Now the bike will start and run normally."

This was developed for the 05 units but the wiring is pretty much the same. Except the wire color on pin two which is blue/red vs.blue /blk on the 05.
