Good source for Odyssey batter PC680

I have a great source for the Odyssey PC680MJ battery for $146 US. I purchased the smart tender for a total of $195 and that's with shipping for US.

Prior to the purchase of my K1200LT I had a couple Suzuki LC1500s. I joined their forum and made great friends and also found out great sources for various parts. The beast at 1500ccs was a tad bit hard to crank with most any standard battery. Once I got the Odyssey it turned over very fast and was very reliable. Gman industries also rebuilt my carbs and sold me a kick butt hidden aux fuel cell - aka: Gtank. Since I had such great luck with their products I turned to find they carried my beemer battery. Now, if it would just get above 35f so I can ride.

Be safe, The bikers are out!

Re: Good source for Odyssey batter PC680

Thanks for the info. The PC680 is available from various suppliers on Ebay pretty regularly for about $120 including shipping. The metal jacket model for about $135. I'm not sure why one would need a metal jacket model in an LT with its centralized location and insert sleeve but I'm all ears!

Thumbs up Re: Good source for Odyssey batter PC680

Portable Power Systems (PPS) has the PC680 regularly for $121.49.
They currently have an instant $20 rebate.
My total shipped (Texas) was going to be $113.

After talking to PPS, I found out the PC680 now has a 3 yr warranty. Called Odyssey and found out my warranty runs out THIS month! So, I run down to the local Batteries Plus and get a new one exchange.

Re: Good source for Odyssey batter PC680

Last I looked, my Odysssey was going on seven years old. I keep it on a cheap tender often, and it really shows no sign of giving up the ghost. Thank goodness I am retired and never in a rush. I don't mind waiting once for a jump to see how long this sucker lasts. In the past my LT has given me plenty of warning when a battery was going South. Stuff like ABS light etc,.
