Looking for advice on tapping into the turn signal cancel

Changing the air filter has become a much bigger enterprise than anticipated. While I had the tupperware off, I added the zumo, bluetooth module for it (ugh), stebel horn, fuse box, and lastly, a module to use the turn cancel to open the garage door.

It seems the last is the hardest of the bunch. I've modified my garage door opener and connected it to fused power, but there's this orange wire that needs to tap into the turn signal cancel button. Looking at cycle gadget's instructions, I need to find some connector under the gas tank to tap into. I'm not at all clear on which connector, how to get to it, or how to remove the tank if I really need to do that.

Has anyone done this on the next gen GT? Any pointers?

Re: Looking for advice on tapping into the turn signal cancel

I posted a reply, no idea what happened to it.

Just did this on an LT 2 weeks ago, worked out great. Tapped into the main harness, inside the large electrical box, brown wire with white stripe, top right side of the box. Have a pic posted somewhere.....

Found the pics:
Autoswitch

Thanks Wayne. So it is doable. Did you need to take the tank off to get to the main electrical box? Can anyone point me to where the main box is on the GT, and what I need to do to get to it?
