New Fuse Block Shipping

There is a new fuse block on the market specifically designed for motorcycles (no reason why it can't be used on an RV or car thought).

http://www.fuzeblocks.com

You can set each circuit on it for either constant power or switched power (each circuit is configurable). Six circuits, relay on board which makes for minimal wiring. I picked on up and I'll be wiring my bike with it over the next week or two.

Disclaimer - I know the guy who designed/built these, so I'm not a totally uninterested bystander. But he is a great LD rider and a good guy. He rode last years IBR. I posted this because I think it's a great product.

Re: New Fuse Block Shipping

That is sweet! I like how you set the switched/non-switched device by just moving the fuse. Pretty doggone clever.

Re: New Fuse Block Shipping

I bet this will be a hit. I like the integrated relay, one less thing to make room for. Even so, it's only a little bigger than the Centech.

Good to have the completely adaptable switched/constant power choice, too.

The instructions on the website are friendly and funny, too.

Very nice! I was always a fan of the Blue Sea units, but yours is smaller, and the switched/constant power selection by using fuse position is ingenious!

I am impressed.

Re: New Fuse Block Shipping

Note.. it's not mine.

I just happen to know the guy who developed it. I DO know he put a CONSIDERABLE amount of thought and effort into what HE would want in a fuse box. He is a long term LD rider. Placed 13th in the IBR last summer. Good guy...

Thumbs up Re: New Fuse Block Shipping

Wish this had been out before I bought my Blue Sea unit. Oh well, another excuse to work on the bike, like I need one.

Re: New Fuse Block Shipping

nice upgrade.. even if you have the BlueSea.

One "tip" on this.. which the creator probably is aware.. if you move a fuse from "switched" to "constant", you will bypass the relay (for diagnostic purposes) and can power certain items on the bike without having a full load on the battery....

Nice..

Re: New Fuse Block Shipping

Very nice little box. About the only issue I see is limited amperage (10) across any 1 fuse.
