Cheers Bfree :)

A nice HID upgrade for my bike today thanks to Brian.
I dropped in to my mechanic on the way home to see about the rubber boot on the balljoint and first thing he said was, " that's illegal!". But hey, so is driving with your fog lights on so I don't give a rats!

Re: Cheers Bfree :)

our bike has the adjuster for the headlight I read somewhere that if the light can be altered (adjusted on the Fly) it is ok anyway, I have had HID for 10 years best bloody upgrade you can do, remember if you are 2 up to wind it down a bit. enjoy the new light you will love it.

Re: Cheers Bfree :)

Hey Greg... first time the rego inspector at a servo asked me "are they legal?" in reference to the HID's I said.. yep, comes as standard on this model (well, the year after anyway it did)... so he just moved on to next item.
I'll probably get asked same question with the GT when its time comes.

Good on you Brian for helping out... is that the other half of your kit you fitted for Greg?

Re: Cheers Bfree :)

Hi Chris,
Yes, I figured if the lights last for the hours stated, I would not need the second. Or truth be known, I would probably not been able find it when the time came.

Greg's took a little longer. Fat finger syndrome kicked in and we struggled a little.
