Sorry if.....

....you were watching a crate of parts off a triked 2007 LT on local Ebay.
I spotted it, contacted the seller to find out if it also had the EHCS unit, which he advised that "Whatever is bolted to the bottom of the motor had to be removed in order to install the trike conversion. I know the centre stand and the hydraulic ram are in with the rest of the parts, as is the side stand."
The "local" bike is supposed to have only had 1200km on it (yep, 1,200k's) and in as-new condition when triked about 6 months ago.
Going for a drive on Sat to pick up spare rear wheel with Metz tyre and brake rotor, final drive, pannier parts and rear panel, EHCS, centrestand and sidestand, and a bunch of bolts and god-knows what else.
If I had the Biarritz Blue colour it would have been a perfect bullseye!
Keeping my fingers crossed that its all as good as he says it was.

Re: Sorry if.....

Nice find, Chris. Good luck on seeing other parts worthwhile as inventory items.

Worth the gamble!

OK, so the haul was worth the drive and gamble on the price. Most of the parts were barely dirty, so the 1200km was real. This is the only LT that Hilton Steele from Threedom Wheels has ever converted, mainly does Goldwings and Harleys.
Hilton is a nice bloke, older mechanic who set up this business 2 years ago and is trying to grow his clientele.
He imports a range of trike conversion kits, but said the Hannigan is the only one that fits the LT. The bike he converted had a few extra options added, and was "around 24k" to convert.

Greg, the panniers are complete... but without from the silver handles & locks section, and are Biarritz Blue. So the chrome trim is firmly attached....
Not sure what one costs through Procycles... when they fixed mine last time, the trim dropped off after a few weeks, they had to replace it under warranty so didn't come out of my pocket thankfully.
Ebay UK has them for 80 BGP, about $140.... :-(

Oh, and would've dropped in but had my old Dad with me for the ride, so wanted to get him home....

Re: Sorry if.....

Chris,....... mate, the colour is known as Light Yellow Metallic and it is a regal colour aimed at the discerning owner, sort of attracts a bit of class really.

Greg, just ignore those who are ignorant of the finer things in life mate, and hopefully they'll go away,..................... dingey yellow, bloody dingey,........... bloody,.........yellow
