Changing the aeriel..?

Anyone ever change their aeriel to a soft shorter rubber one.
Im finding the original is hitting my (small) shed roof and also doesn't fit under the dust cover and it doesn't seem to pick up reception all that good anyway ?

Re: Changing the aeriel..?

There is a fair bit of information on this subject.
Try the Search function above and type in aerial, it should give you a few good responses.

Re: Changing the aeriel..?

Also search for "antenna" and you'll find some discussions where people have replaced the original antenna with something mounted beneath the LT's bodywork - completely hidden.

Re: Changing the aeriel..?

Here's one I was thinking of. I went back and found this for you as a way of apologizing for my painfully-obvious previous post. Sorry about that.
