trip to QLD agm

Hi all well the trip is over and we had a great time, 3 weeks and 5777km and both bikes were flawless, there were 3326 registrations for the event. I counted 12 LT's in the grand parade half of which had wedgetails fitted, at 10 grand a pop don't think I will bother just yet.
only a couple of picckies to show as I have so many
# 1 mine, the wifes and my mates
#2 our camping spot
#3 LT with wedgetail
#4 free camp behind a hall in Nowendoc on way home

Re: trip to QLD agm

Nice, thanks for pics Linton
Great to hear you both had a good and safe trip.

A proliferation of wedgetails... scary ain't it. They certainly don't look as complete a package as the Hannigan conversions, but I guess if thats your need and you can do-it-yourself... certainly look better on the GW's than on the LT.
Wonder how long the rear drive tyre lasts with those extra outriggers... would be interested to know what sort of mileage they get. Imagine the outer car tyres would probably never wear out.

Be scared Greg, be very scared...

Re: trip to QLD agm

yeah Chris I don't know about them, didnt get to talk to any owners, I only get 12k km out of a back tyre and average 6.8 l/100 while towing, worse if I don't fill with premium.
we had a GW with a wedgetail go over down here, he got loose in the gravel and they reackon the wedgetail is tortioned which assisted in throwing him off all hearsay of course, but he was an old fellow banged him up pretty good wrote off the GW
