Mirror spring clip

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has a spare spring clip?

I lost one of mine when my mirror surround broke from a fall.
If you do have one please leave me a PM.

Cheers,
Greg

Re: Mirror spring clip

Good luck finding one Greg. A few years back I had to buy one of the little ball-head bolts the clips holds from the dealer. Very pricey....

Re: Mirror spring clip

No need to worry about it now, bike fell over and totalled the mirror again. I'm buying the Chinese replicas from eBay and will paint it to match the bike. I now have 2 clips to spare

Anyone notice the difference? Apart from it being undercoated.

They are the chinese ones from eBay. Delivered about $300.
Note the 2 ribs inside the air intake, my original ones don't have them.

Re: Mirror spring clip

If you need to repair or replace a spring clip again, there are a couple of discussions on this site that show DIY repairs, using some kind of plastic cement or something. The discussions include photos.

Nice new mirror, by the way. Let us know what you think of its quality, over time.
