Nice find.....

I was talking to Andy at Pro-Cycles yesterday and he said he had a bit of (new) old K1200LT stock they would like to move at greatly reduced prices, stuff like a complete set of heated seats/backrest, etc.

I went out there today and picked up the ultimate (un-necessary) farkle, the BMW cup holder that had been sitting in Pro-Cycle stock since 2004. I also bought the BMW K1200LT tankbag for $50 (price tag said $162).

Anyone want a set of brand new heated seats?

Re: Nice find.....

G'day Linton,

The bikes still on the lift while I polish all the paintwork, finish the cleaning etc. I stuck it in second gear, started it, and slowly released the clutch with the bike tied down, it felt right so I think it will all be good when I get to ride it.

This weekend I'm of for a mad weekend around Kiama, Jambaroo and Kangaroo Valley with my monkey mates on this -

The LT will have to wait another week before the fairing goes back on and it comes down from the lift. I'm running a Dice in the LT, they're a good thing however the classic iPod is getting a bit long in the tooth.

You're doing well with a 100K on the clutch, I'm hoping this clutch slave lasts to that point, I'm sure the clutch plate will make it, and now with the drain hole drilled, I feel a whole lot better about the longevity.

Take care out there,

Daryll
