Re: metal fuel disconnects

I just ordered some from a company called Omega (www.omega.com) . Very quick turn around and great customer service. If you can't find them I can email you the part #'s if you want. They also asked for me to fill out an online questionaire and they sent me a very nice mutimeter. I have not got around to installing them yet but they look very nice and should hold up much better than the original ones.

Re: metal fuel disconnects

Mine leaked the other day. Hated getting drenched with Gas as well as the disruption to schedule.

Anyway, the "metal quick disconnects" are around $50.00 a piece! I needed something quick.

I ended up using two brass "barb type" connectors and soem hose clamps. I know I have a potential leak issue when I need to pull the tank, but, the few time it needs to come off I can plan accordingly (low tank level or golf tee plug).

Cost about $5.00.

YMMV

Re: metal fuel disconnects

thanks fellows for your reply's the problem buying from the states is our falling dollar, I just did the conversion and we are talking $80.00 each coupling plus postage my local dealer 5hrs away if you call that local, has told me they now do only the female coupling in metal. its about $40.00 so I will make do with that for now.
Thanks again
