Aussie LT Muster - The Movie!

Finally got around to uploading this clip. A little stroll down the line-up of the 16 LT's that gathered at Hog's Breath in Coffs Harbour.
Hope the link works. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjIMitJQ3gk

Mmmmmm LT's

G'day Brian

Link works fine for me. One problem though, you didn't pause long enough on the brown one . Nice job mate.

That's fantastic Brian!

Next time lets double the number!

I was interested that the majority of the bikes were parked with the front wheel turned to the left... I always thought that our bikes were more 'stable' when the wheel was turned to the right. I don't want to hijack the thread but any thoughts?

Cheers,

Ian

Well most of the bikes were on centre stand, so it did not really matter. However, if it is on the side stand, then handle bars to the left will "force" the weight of the bike onto the stand, thus making it less likely to topple over (a lesson that I demonstrated at Dorrigo on the way to the AGM)

Chris,
Lovely Jubbley... I think I picked it up from Del Boy in Only Fools and Horses.... but on to more important stuff, the Snowy Ride. I'll talk to Jen about it when I get home, could be a goer. We have 23 days on the LT planned from July 21 along with another LT rider, camping through Vic, SA, and the NT with the aim of seeing the rock again so assuming I can sit back on the bike again by November, there's a good chance we'll be there.

Now concerning "Jubbley" it arose out of an advertising campaign in the 1960s when a triangular shaped frozen drink/ice confection originally orange flavored thing was released on the market, the marketer used the slogan 'lubbly jubbly'. they were in a foil lined card paper container sealed each end with the closed ends being at right angels to each other . these things are still on the market under a different name. that is a Jubbly

Ahhh, 'Sunny Boys', I remember them fondly...do you remember that some of them had 'frees', yellow writting on the inside entitling the holder to redeem their 'free' for a free Sunny Boy... Am I showing my age here?
