G'day Jake.
Yep, Still hanging around and wearing the old boy down. It gets a visit to "the doctor" on Wed to get a few things looked at. Clutch slipping a little, wheel wobble, needs new rear brake pads (3rd set) after 27,000km, a couple of bolts missing!!! And its still all good fun!
cheers

Yep, I'm still around. Getting a new shock for the beast (a rebuilt OEM sucker, thanks again Phill, by SOS SUspensions out at Penrith), so this weekend might be a busy one changing things out. Also fitted some after market spot lights to augment the head light. Now I can see at night !

Ulysses AGM coming up in a couple of months, getting ready for the trip. So looking forward to this.......

Yep, I'm still here too and riding the LT every now and again.
Bikes still going well, but looks a bit grubby at present through. The last few rides were in the rain, and last weekend we also saw a few dirt roads. Nothing a good wash won't fix when I get the time.

Cheers

Hi Jake, still adding miles to Jenna. Still wearing a big grin. Enjoying the great Ausie roads, but we've seen enough gum trees for now. The next 16,000 kms will be via the container to the UK, so I guess that won't count. Looking forward to our European Odyssey, leave in three weeks. Cheers

yep I'm still in love

did a nice ride sunday:

Ballarat-daylsford-woodend-lancefeild (coffee )-kilmore-broardford-strath creek-flowerdale-Pheasant creek-kinglake (picnic lunch)-glenburne-flowerdale-strathcreek-Tallarook, via goulbourne valley-pyalong-lancefeild (break) -ballarat

500ks with 5 other bikes from the ballarat Ulysses branck. beautifull day and great ride.

We leave ballarat 21st may for Coffs AGM, stay till sunday then up to gold coast area till followiing sunday and then 4-5 days back to Ballarat. 2000-2500ks planned towing a trailer and camping but have accom in resort on mermaid beach. Isnt the antisipation and planning of a trip a very pleasant thing? We dont plan indepth, just the main events. the trip up is planned by others we are just going along and chilling!

G'day Jake

Haven't taken any piccies yet, but plan to. The lights are just some ones I picked up from the local Supacheap store (I think they were around the $25 mark) and a driving light wiring harness kit (Around $14 I think). Got my 1st year boilermaker apprentice to make up some brackets to fit up under the wing tips, picking up the hole centres for the torx screws. Mrs Dog doesn't want me to put any extra holes in the bike if possible, she made me buy the bike so what she says, goes .

As soon as I pull my finger out, I'll take some piccies. HTH mate.

G'day Big Dog,

I hate it when our better half makes you have to buy a bike. Bad enough in the kitchen. Did she let you pick the colour. I suppose that as she forced you into this you just gotta do what she says and get out their and ride.

I would be interested in a picture of your brackets when fitted.

Stay safe

Greetings all.

The Bismarck and I are doing great. She's just had her 45,000km service and she passed with green & gold colours. The really good news is my brother and his family have moved to Mt. Gambier meaning for me, a superb reason for a great cruise there on the Bismarck.

It was good to read the other messages from fellow Australians too.

Kindest regards to all.

Howdy Guys,
Still adding kays (slowly I might add) to mine. Dont get out as often as I would like but usually manage to make the border run once a year.
It makes for a very big Shed ornament.

Hi Jake,
Yep, everything is going well up this way..
I did have a few problems a month or two ago with the rear end but BMW came to the party and hopefully all is behind me for now (will post a follow up to my last thread regarding my rear-end failure as soon as time permits). Other than that I'm on the 'girl' daily, every ride is a good ride, and we off to Bendemeer this weekend for an o'nighter..
Cheers 'till later,
Col

G'day Gent's

Sorry BoBZ, I am day shift this Sunday, So I won't be going.

I a little bit of insettled time at work and now my shifts are getting nocked around.
28th April or 39 th may be good. although I will be nights on the 29th and need to be back by 1500.

However if I can't get ona ride I can give some great ideas in and around gippsland.

I am hoping come this Monday that my shift change will be stable and I can plan something. Not able to do an overnoght at this point in time.
I should be able to get a weekday ride.

Should have checked my spelling before I posted.

If You guys decide to do a ride around the Gippsland I can mark in some good roads for you.

If you suddenly set a date post it and I will see if I can get a shift swap.
It would be great to see a few LT's parked somewhere.
