Ahhhhhh.... Confession....

Hi Guys
Ahhhhhhhh.. I have just bought a "....................2015.......... GS

But it is not all bad news.......
As I have kept my 2013 90th Anniversary RT

The garage looked unfinished with just ONE bike in it and the RT was getting lots of miles quickly. Just spent 3 day weekend in Walcha, riding the Oxley and visiting friends in Port. Great ride home yesterday via Inverell, Texas etc.

The new bike takes up residence Friday......
Looking forward all the usual warm feelings with a new bike and lowering bank balance with farkles.....
Best regards
Paul

Re: Ahhhhhh.... Confession....

Well done Paul,
We all desire upgrades with new farkles. Some we can afford with rational spending. Others tend to drain the entire pool. I think your decision shows good choice on your behalf.
You probably will get more rides out of it anyway.

Re: Ahhhhhh.... Confession....

I recently spent 10 days on a hired GS on with a mix of tarmac and off-road, absolutely loved it.

It was an amazing bike, i dont normally mess around with the different ride modes but when I hit gravel and found the bike to be really 'jumpy' and sensitive, not what you want on that type of surface. Then one of the guys I was riding with told me to switch it from Road to Enduro, when I did that it was like I just got on a completely different bike, the throttle was much smoother and the ride much more suited to off-road. I was power-sliding through gravel before you knew it.. never had so much fun on a bike!

Find some gravel tracks you will be addicted!
