Lake Louise is located at the southern end of the Icefields Parkway and is one of the premier parks in North America. Towering over the lake to the hotel in which we are staying in Jasper, The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is an exclusive resort. There are a number of other very fine hotels in the Lake Louise area.
Just a few miles outside the village of Lake Louise sits Moraine Lake, another stunning blue-green glacially fed lake.
