Some guys have bought used and probably never knew the BMW name for the color. I know one guy here in Dallas that swears his LT is Burgundy and not Canyon Red

Isn't Night Black sorta like Slow Red or Easter Egg Blue? Just a bit redundant, I'd say.

And I count at least three shades of grey, if not more.

Knowing what color your LT is, we can all consider the source! Dag! You'll ride ANYTHING, won't you?!

Then again, if BMW came out with an LT the color of DIRT, you'd be first in line.

Well, at least he wouldn't have to WASH it very often!!! Oh, yeah, he already does that...

Down here in Jawja, we don't got DIRT...we got RED CLAY!!! If ya wanna know color THAT is, just ride I-285 and look for cars with Spalding County tags in the left lane against the wall and the left turn signal on. The lower half of which is covered in red clay thrown up from the tires on the dirt roads for the last 12 months.

Oh, yeah, just saw one last week with TEN Confederate flag decals visible from the rear. Scared to pass him and count what he had on the rest of the car.

Hmmmm....if that comment is directed to me, yes, my LT is silver! To be BM(W) - correct, it is Titan Silver, as it has been since I bought it new! But that reeks of porschephiles (Pricks?) who are so anal as to have to pronounce their cars "Por-shuh!" and get pissed when ya don't...it is still Porsche, as us boys down South pronouce it.

My LT is still silver....and it is a BEEMER not a BIMMER...if I want to get really anal about it...which I don't.

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Red face Where's TOM?!

That's odd. As I remember it...when your wife saw me at the bottom of Deal's Gap, I was . . . ALONE. And when Mark Neblett got there, he found me ALONE. You know? As in . . . the first one there. As in . . . left you back there with the loser cagers.

But nice try though. Guess it'll take more than just fancy shocks. You might want to look into turbo or NOS for that mauvelous thang you got there.

Here's the deal. Black ain't black. Night Black is old black while Magnesium Black is new black. The '06 LTs include Mag Black as an option. . .I think. I'm surprised that four members already have them. Dealers here in NY list the '06 and the new colors but none are on the floor, at least not in upstate where there is snow on the ground.

They did make one the color of dirt, and I bought one. Impala Brown. It works well with all the gravel roads we have in western MN.

Re-vote requested due to newer bike

I need to vote again since my '03 is a different color than my '99 LT, alas there is no option to do this here...!

I am one of those who bought used, and I don't know the name given to my '06 blue K1200LT. Was there only one blue for '06? Was it Pacific or Ocean? Suddenly I need to know! Thanks.

Ed, for a color list, check out the first post, by Joe, here. Pretty color, I think.

Re: What color is your K1200LT?

Mine is Pacific Blue, compliments all the time.
But I have seen some awesome colors.

Silver, Champagne, Black, Red,, all look nice.
Color is and always will be a personal choice
with anything vehicle purchase.. Be careful not
to criticize another color.. Even orange is seen
before black on the highway.

I thought mine was Impala Brown but the dealer called it "do do brown". I picked Impala on the poll as do do wasn't a choice.

Re: What color is your K1200LT?

I don't know the official color name - my LT is a 2000 and I would call it a maroon or burgundy. I had it to the dealer the other day and the service guy made the comment " hmm a burgundy one, don't see them too often". Whatever color it is I like it and it rides great!!

Ralph Walker
2000 LT - Burgundy I think!
