Laminar Lip on 2010 RT ?

I've seen lots of pics of Laminar Lips on LTs and -2009 RTs but the website doesn't have a pic available for my 2010 RT. Does anyone have one on their 2010+ RT?

If so, could you post a pic?

I had a LL on my Vstrom and it did a pretty good job for the money. I'm not ready to spring for a whole new windshield just yet and since I don't really dislike the stock shield I thought I might try a LL for less than 100.00.

I had one for about 4 weeks - took it off and put on a calsci screen. The LL did not make much difference for me - wish I had saved my money and put it towards the calsci screen to begin with.

What did the Calsci shield do that is so much different than stock? And, do you have a pic?

Re: Laminar Lip on 2010 RT ?

Eliminated any buffeting around my helmet when the screen is fully extended (large screen). I usually run the radio volume at 11, can now run it at 9 and still hear it just fine. Very little distortion - I look through the top of the screen when it is fully extended without any concerns. At highway speeds, can lower the screen so that I can see over the top - still quiet and comfortable.

Dont have a picture just yet - might see if I can get one tomorrow and will post it then.

Re: Laminar Lip on 2010 RT ?

I have a used Laminar lip that you could try. I used it on my 2011 RT fo over six months and it works a ton better that the stock shield without it. I took it off because I do not like the way it looks on the bike. Let me know if you would like to try it.
