Handle Bar Risers for R1200R????

I just test rode a 800ST and a R1200R- VRRRRRRROOOOOOOMMMMM
Actually loved them both, I am a long time rider (30yrs) and currently have a BMW 650 (my second). But it is too small for the riding I am now doing, US touring.

Both the 800ST and R1200R are pitched too far forward for my comfort, even with the risers on the 800 ST still no bueno. To date, the BMW dealer in my area did not believe there were any risers for the 2007 R1200R. I would like to be a upright as my 650 or even back a bit, neck and lower back issues make a forward pitch not comfortable.

Any suggestions? of the two bikes I am favoring the R1200R.

Check out Verholen, Suburban Machinery and RCU designs to see if they have anything.

If not, a custom one can be made locally.

You might also want to contact Dan-A and ask him (he has probably done the research). He owns an R1200R and is local.

Your profile says you live in Sacramento?

We (A&S BMW) have an R1200R on the showroom floor right now with bar risers...
